WHEW!

My goodness! How long has it been since I've posted on this blog? I'm not sure, but it's been quite a while. Oh my! Well here's a little something to tie some of you over while I continue to create more paper goods. This card features some of my favorite stamps from VERVE. They have the wonderful designs and creative designers. Enjoy and I'll see you soon!

BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA!

Today consisted of preparing for our trip to San Francisco and making a bunch of birthday cards. Whew! My creative juices are not flowing today, so it took a whole lot of time just to create these 3 cards. I'm quite upset with myself because they didn't turn out the way I wanted, but they're done and that's all that matters to me. We'll be leaving for the Bay area late tonight, so I have time to get some cleaning done since I've been in my craft room all day. Enjoy!

Sorry, I don't have time to post the supply list for each card, but I will do it when I get back from my trip. Have a great weekend!

SNEAK PEEK!

Here's a quick look at the upcoming projects that I will be offering at my workshop in April. Stay tuned for more details. ENJOY!

Happy Birthday . . .

. . . to JASMINE! {a little early, but better than late right?!?} My good friend's daughter is turning 5 years old. She's such a pretty, smart, and athletic little girl. I thought this card would fit her perfectly. I apologize for the terrible photo. I didn't realize until after I took the picture my battery was very low. I tried to spruce it up a bit and here's the final outcome. Enjoy and happy birthday again Jaz! I hope you have a great day.

OCC - Crazy for Hearts Challenge

Yes! I just finished a quick card for the OCC {Our Creative Corner} Challenge. This week's theme or challenge was to use two or more hearts on your project. I decided to use some red chipboard hearts that I found in my drawer. I think they were hiding from me (actually, I didn't realize I had them until I went looking for some embellishments for another card) :). Again, like the other 3 cards I've created in the past couple of weeks, I went with the Valentine's Day theme. Since I bought the Big Shot, I've been obsessed with the embossing folders and textures plates and use them on every card or scrap page I create. I love that machine.

Mojo Monday - Week 72

Happy Monday to all of you! I've broken out the new Stampin' Up! products and put 'em to use. I've been a fan of a sketch blog MOJO MONDAY and I've decided to participate in this week's sketch challenge. Obviously I'm inspired by Valentine's Day and the Raspberry Tart DSP from SU! All of the supplies I used were from Stampin' Up!

IRON CUPCAKE CHALLENGE!

Good morning! Happy Sunday to everyone! So, I'm browsing through my favorite blogs and come across a blog through Bakerella called No One Puts Cupcake in the Corner. You won't believe this, they have an Iron Cupcake Challenge . . . OH YEAH! C'mon cupcake challenge - you gotta love it! :) The last challenge required the use of WINE as an ingredient - some used Zin, Champagne, or a Cabernet. The cupcakes looked delicious. If you have a few minutes please check out the website and the recipes. ENJOY!

The picture above is an entry from Chocolate & Chipotle blog. Doesn't it look DEEEEELIOUS?!

Love is in the air!

. . . at least it is in my craft room :).  It's been fun playing with all my paper in Valentine's Day themed colors. Today, I created something quick and easy with the use of my Big Shot and some fun embellishments I found at Paper Source. I decided to make a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Gift Card/CD/DVD holder. If you're interested in purchasing it send me a comment with your e-mail address and I'll contact you with the details. Thanks and enjoy!

Greetings and Happy New Year! I'm back and finally creating some fun projects for the new year. Today I'm posting a picture of the projects I will be teaching for the class at Paper Source - South Coast Plaza on 02/01/09. The class will focus on a few rubber stamping techniques and I've incorporated the Valentine's Day theme.

There will be 5 projects:
(1) Gift Card and/or CD Holder
(2) Greeting Card
(1) 6 x 6 Scrapbook Page
(1) Kid's Valentine's Day Candy Card Holder

I hope to see you there! If you have any questions about the class or the projects, please post the question on the comment section. Thanks and happy stamping!

'Tis the season!

Ho, ho, ho! Hello everyone. Sorry about the delay in posting, but it's been a bit busy around the Mather home. I'm quite behind on everything - blogging, Christmas shopping, sending Christmas cards, washing clothes, etc. Here's a quick holiday card that I made for the upcoming Holiday Boutique in Mission Viejo. The boutique will be at The Learning Experience on Saturday, December 6th (8am - 3pm). They'll have breakfast with Santa and lots of shopping opportunities. I hope you can make it. I'll be selling holiday cards, place cards, gift tags, gift card holders, and much more. Have a good Thursday!
